Synopsis: In my latest for The Athletic Toronto, I wrote about the Raptors throttling the Clippers without Kawhi Leonard, thanks in large part to Kyle Lowry getting back on track.

So​ about that monstrous Kyle​ Lowry​ slump.

When I did a deep​ dive Tuesday, my takeaway​​ was pretty clear: Lowry is too good a shooter, too smart a player and has too established a track record to worry too much. It was a bad slump, he was just very likely to round out of it in a reasonable amount of time so long as there was no underlying physical reason for him posting the worst five-game true-shooting percentage of his Raptors tenure.

Well, Tuesday was a heck of a relief for anyone who wasn’t necessarily buying that conclusion. Lowry was back to looking like his regular self in a major way as he helped lead a Raptors team down Kawhi Leonard to a rousing 123-99 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
