Blake I really enjoy your analysis of NBA basketball and I consider you the foremost authority of our Raptors. I love the trade with the Knicks. I am a huge OG fan since he was drafted but this trade has changed our team drastically. I would like to get a young big that could off the bench but potentially replace Jak. Do you think Orlando would consider a Trent Jr. for Wendell Carter swap? They need shooting and we need a big.
Thanks for the kind words, Les. I definitely think they’d be open to moving Carter, they just have so many frontcourt guys. Trent makes sense to me for shooting, but I wonder if he might not fit their defensive identity? Masai and Magic GM (Weltman) are close, so maybe possible.
