Title: The keys to the Raptors matchup advantage against the 76ers

Synopsis: In my latest for The Athletic Toronto, I wrote about an encouraging Raptors win in Philadelphia and what makes the 76ers such a good matchup for them.
PHILADELPHIA — The Raptors may have the Philadelphia 76ers number.
For the third time in four meetings this year, it looked as if the 76ers may be Toronto’s preferred opponent in the second or third round depending on how the Eastern Conference shakes out. It’s a little early for that kind of talk with the trade deadline and buyout market still ahead and many teams, the Raptors chief among them, still trying to find their top gear for the stretch run. Both teams were missing a key rotation piece, too.
Still, a 119-107 victory in Philadelphia should lend confidence that the Raptors match up well here.
As the East begins to take shape with a pretty clear line of delineation after the top four, these begin to become more worthwhile considerations. Like we did with the Bucks and will do with the Celtics — ostensibly the Raptors’ three biggest potential challenges in the East playoff bracket — it’s worth reviewing what has revealed itself in the season series both about the Raptors in general and in the event of a longer meeting down the line.
