Synopsis: In my latest for The Athletic, I brought back the mailbag in excessive fashion, answering 40 questions about Raptors-Magic, playoff rotations, the future of a few Raptors, and a whole lot more.
In my sixth year of covering the Raptors into the playoffs, it doesn’t feel quitelike we’re there yet until we get an enormous, long-winded, oft-tangential mailbag in the books. The mailbags are some of my favourite regular pieces, though they’ve been a little less frequent this year as I’ve traveled more or focused on more hard analysis or shifted that same energy to our very cool Q&A system here at The Athletic.
But this is the playoffs, and they necessitate the assuaging of anxieties, the predicting of unknowables and, if my track record with these is any indication, a handful of music, wrestling or much-too-personal questions.
This is going to be a long one, so there’s little sense in any more preamble. Let’s get it.
