Title: Murphy: A comprehensive collection of opinions on the Raptors’ offseason to date

Synopsis: In my latest for The Athletic Toronto, I wrote about some things I liked, disliked, loved, and loathed about the first 10 days of the offseason.
LAS VEGAS — A lot has happened over the course of a week in Las Vegas.
For most Vegas trips, that would point to gambling or debauchery. In our case, it just means Summer League is in full effect, complete with the lifting of the free-agent moratorium and the annual chaos associated with that. From a Raptors perspective, it’s been a sobering week. Kawhi Leonard is gone, the course ahead is clear and the remainder of summer is earmarked for adjusting between eras and perspectives.
With so much going on, it’s hard to write about every single thing. I have takes, though! I’m allowed to have takes. I think. What follows are some stray thoughts — things I’ve liked, disliked or somewhere in between — over the opening-week-plus of the 2019-20 NBA year.
DISLIKE: Leonard signing with the Los Angeles Clippers. This, to me, was bad for the Raptors.
