Title: Small sample theatre: Three early Raptors trends to keep an eye on
Date: November 5, 2019
Original Source: The Athletic
Synopsis: In my latest for The Athletic Toronto, I wrote about some early-season statistical trends worth keeping an eye on for the Raptors.
It’s still a little too early to be drawing conclusions about the 2019-20 Toronto Raptors. Certain aspects of the offence remain a work-in-progress. So, too, is the rotation. There’s limited data on just about everyone, and that’s before acknowledging small-sample size caveats and stabilization points and things like that.
One game over six days is prime real estate for analysis, though. With that in mind, I wanted to take a look at a few early curiosities and contextualize them. What follows are three trends through 7.3 percent of the schedule that are worth keeping an eye on.
Note: All data is through Nov. 3 games.
