Coming up with 25 names for The Atheltic Toronto’s inaugural Sports Hall of Fame class isn’t hard.
Deciding which athletes to leave out? Now that’s a challenge.
But since we subscribe to the theory that the best halls are small (see, Cooperstown, N.Y.), we embraced the task of identifying and celebrating the 25 individuals who have left the greatest legacies across Toronto’s professional sports landscape.
And just for fun — and also because we feel their respective contributions are equally important — we’ve decided to include a “Builder’s Category” that includes 10 names.
