Synopsis: We decided to hold a Raptors fan survey at The Athletic, gauging the fanbase’s feelings, takes, and thoughts on all things Raptors.
Thank you for being a part of our first time. We’ve never done something like this before: asking Toronto Raptors fans to weigh in, as a group, on the state of the franchise.
We weren’t sure what to expect, though we had an idea the results would skew positive. Short of “Blake has to stop pandering for cheap ‘2019 Champion pops,” it’s hard to imagine the readership being too grumpy so soon after a ring. Still, the results were interesting, and in some cases, defied expectations.
Over 1,300 subscribers completed the survey. The responses should provide a good indication of the mood of the fan base, or at least our specific, engaged readership. You know, the good ones who get it.
Thank you to everyone who participated. I’m looking forward to seeing the reactions in the comments. So without any further preamble, here are the results of The Athletic’s first-ever Raptors fan survey.
