Synopsis: In my latest for The Athletic Toronto, I wrote about a few of the things on my mind as the Raptors and Celtics get ready for Game 7.
How did you sleep? How are you feeling this morning? An extra coffee, or one fewer to keep the nerves at ease?
The Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics will play a Game 7 on Friday night, with the winner going on to meet the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference final. For the Raptors, it’s a chance to make a third trip that far in three years and keep alive one of the unlikeliest title defences in league history. For the Celtics, it would mean a third trip there in four years and, with all due respect to a very good Heat team, their best chance at returning to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010.
