Title: Raptors schedule release: Pelicans in Tampa for opener, mini-series and more
Date: December 4, 2020

Synopsis: In my latest for The Athletic Toronto, I broke down the Raptors’ first-half schedule and how the move to Tampa has affected them on paper.
The Toronto Raptors have a schedule for the first half of the 2020-21 season to go along with their new temporary home.
The NBA released the schedule up to March 4 on Friday, covering the Raptors’ first 37 games of the 72-game season. The Raptors, of course, will be playing their home games during that stretch in Tampa rather than in Toronto. The league has built a March 5-10 break into the schedule that could allow them to return to Toronto for the second half, but that determination has not yet been made and surely depends on how these next few months go from a public health perspective.
As of this writing, no determination has been made on whether fans will be allowed in the arena in Tampa. So the home opener might just be a piped-in Herbie Kuhn and Strizzzy with a Drake cutout. We’ll see.
Here’s what you need to know about the 2020-21 Raptors schedule.
