Synopsis: In my latest for The Athletic Toronto, I updated the legal situation of Raptors guard Terence Davis, who had five of seven charges dismissed and two others subject to an ACD.
Raptors guard Terence Davis II accepted an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal on two counts in New York Criminal Court on Friday.
Davis was originally facing seven charges, including two counts of third-degree assault, stemming from an October incident in New York, in which he allegedly got into a verbal argument with his girlfriend and “subject hit the victim in the face,” according to an NYPD statement.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s office moved Friday to dismiss the five counts relating to assaultive conduct.
