Title: Pacers, Bulls, Wizards, Raptors: Which teams are making the play-in tournament?
Date: April 22, 2021
Original Source: The Athletic
Synopsis: In my latest for The Athletic Toronto, I joined a few colleagues to break down the race for the play-in spots in the Eastern Conference.
With four teams contending for the last two play-in tournament spots, and less than a month remaining in the regular season, beat writers Fred Katz (Wizards), Eric Koreen (Raptors), Darnell Mayberry (Bulls) and Blake Murphy (Raptors) discuss how the race is shaping up, try to assess what the play-in spots have added to the regular season, and make their predictions.
Koreen: The “battle” for the last two play-in spots is a bleeping scene, guys. After all teams played on Wednesday, the Pacers own ninth place, two games up on the Wizards, who currently hold the last play-in spot. They are a half-game up on the Raptors, who are a half-game up on the Bulls.
