The rare double off day following a loss to a marquee opponent always feels like the best time to recalibrate with a mailbag.
The Toronto Raptors are hardly reeling, but they are entering a high-leverage part of the season. A five-game road trip against Western Conference competition beckons, with the Boston Celtics breathing down their necks for the No. 2 seed in the East. For as incredible as the Raptors have been, there’s little insulation in the standings and little room to stumble, even during an arduous part of the schedule (by travel if not quality of competition). Factor in that key questions about what this team will look like in the playoffs are on people’s minds, and there’s a lot to work through.
