Title: Raptors player tiers: What our Top-125 list suggests about Toronto for 2021
Date: October 24, 2020

Synopsis: In my latest for The Athletic Toronto, I looked at our site’s NBA Player Tiers project and what the results say about the Raptors.
Do the national writers at The Athletic really hate your team? Well yes, of course they do. Especially since, if you’re reading this, I’m assuming you’re a Toronto Raptors fan. I alone am the voice of the voiceless here, calmly muttering “they’ve beat their Vegas win total over-under nine years in a row” any time someone brings to my attention that the Raptors have been power-ranked outside of someone’s top 10, like a bat-signal beckoning me to assuage your inferiority.
John Hollinger? Hates your Raptors. Didn’t even include them in his list of nine threats to prevent a Lakers title repeat.
Zach Harper? Hates your Raptors. Dropped them from second to eighth for his much-too-early 2020-21 power rankings first edition.
Sam Vecenie? OK, well, his latest mock draft represents a pretty good scenario for the Raptors. But I don’t like his tone.
