Synopsis: In my latest for The Athletic Toronto, I opened up the mailbag to discuss Raptors draft strategy, free agent approach, trade possibilities, and more.
Something I’ve pondered a great deal over the years is whether anyone would notice if I reused the lyrics I sometimes open articles with.
The fact the Insane Clown Posse offers such a specific and appropriate lyric like “He’s got a mail bag, he’s probably just frontin’ ” makes it difficult to not go back to that well often. Repeating it for multiple mailbags seems unoriginal, though, and unfortunately, I used basically every possible mail-related lyric in our mailbag episodes of Columbia House Party over the last two years. And honestly, Cartel’s “If you’re not getting answers ask better questions” is just too cruel relative to how I feel about you, dear reader.
Anyway, it’s difficult to do a second intro on the same mailbag split into two parts.
On Thursday, I answered as many questions as I could in a Live Q&A. The questions I couldn’t get to, the ones that came up most often and the ones that require lengthier answers have been repurposed for this mailbag, which is split into Part 1 yesterday and part two today.
