Title:NBA Draft Prospects: Six bigs the Raptors could select with picks No. 46 and 47

Synopsis: In my latest for The Athletic Toronto, I took a look at six bigs who could be on the Raptors’ radar with their two second-round picks.
Maybe the best 6-foot-10 athlete we’ve seen in the draft. A very reasonable B-Ball Paul comparison. Two blocks in the same highlight. Today’s batch of prospects has a little bit of everything, and a good amount of intrigue on top of that.
It can be pretty easy to nitpick big men projected to be available late in the draft. The replacement level for certain skills are quite readily available, and so when you’re deciding what big you might want to work with in the G League, stand-out skills matter. There are half a dozen useful yet unspectacular fours and fives available to be signed at a given time, but players who offer an additional layer of upside beyond the sixth-big kind of role are less common. That’s what we’re looking for here.
I promised less preamble this time around, so let’s get into it. I explained my approach and methodology here.
