Synopsis: In my latest for The Athletic Toronto, I took a look at six wings who could be on the Raptors’ radar with their two second-round picks.
Crown and Dragon. Morty’s. Duff’s. Scottie Lewis.
Whatever your favourite wing, it’s a safe bet the Raptors will be trying to add someone to their prospect pipeline from those positions. They’re not always rookies, mind you, but there’s been an undrafted or young free-agent wing in camp with the Raptors just about every season. Plus, with how versatile Nick Nurse likes his roster to be, the type of multi-position defenders who tend to fall in this group warrant examination.
I promised less preamble, so let’s get right to it. I explained my approach and methodology here. The pool of players to consider there is essentially the same as the undrafted list, give or take a name, because evaluations will vary this late in the pool.
